Show 30 is all about the news from CES and features three interviews you will not want to miss. I have more Microsoft goodies from Todd Headrick, Allen Buckner from HP, and from Packet Video I talk with Steve Harris and Tracey Croughwell.
Also on the show is a shameless request from anyone that does graphic arts professionally or on the side. I need some help!
I’ll go over listener e-mail and we have several this time so be sure to listen and comment about them.

Thursday is the official opening day of CES 2009. Last nights keynote was considered a Press day and I have a couple of photos to share with you.
I finally got to touch and see a new MediaSmart Server!
HP has a nice setup at CntrStg. They were great and very hospitable. The keynote, well I thought it was a bit on the lame side but the demos were interesting. I hope to see more today.
Here is a shot of Ian Dixon doing an interview at CntrStge.

Ian is such a pro. Look, he brought his own lighting, backdrops, and microphone! Don’t forget to tune in to thedigitallifestyle.com for fresh podcasts from CES. Ian will have myself and Andrew Edney on a show. Speaking of Andrew, maybe we should give him a little credit here and there. Thanks for the taking the photo AE! Oh, the lighting and backdrop were provided by HP and Cntrstge but I’m sure if Ian would have thought of it first he would have brought them!
Can you tell I’m having a good time here at CES? It’s been fun so far. If you have any questions you would like me to ask Microsoft, HP, or any other vendor please send me an e-mail or a twitter. Add me up on twitter and you can stay in touch with what we are up to. If you don’t have an account just get one! You don’t have to use it on a mobile phone to stay in touch. It’s been a valuable tool for me so far.
If you didn’t hear the news, Steve Ballmer announced that Windows 7 Beta will be available on Friday for download. I also thought it was cool to hear they will be releaseing two new Halo games in 2009, including Halo Wars, a strategy game that will ship on March 3, and Halo 3: Orbital Drop Shock Trooper.
Stay tuned for more information. I won’t deluge you with posts. You can get that from Engadget and other news sites but I’ll be giving you some good podcasts soon! Use Twitter to see what is going on!
